Police spokesperson Olumuyiwa Adejobi has announced that the police force is eagerly awaiting information from Bella Shmurda, a close friend and colleague of the late MohBad, in order to expedite their investigation. The Nation reported the unfortunate passing of the rising rapper on Tuesday.

On Thursday, the police confirmed that they have initiated an inquiry into the singer’s untimely demise. The law enforcement agency is also appealing to anyone with valuable information, particularly friends and family members of the late rapper, to come forward and assist in the investigation.

Blogger Kemi Olunloyo issued a 48-hour ultimatum to Bella Shmurda on Saturday, urging him to go to the police and provide his account.

On her X handle, she wrote: “Bella Shmurda I’m giving you 48 hrs to go to @PoliceNG and speak to @Princemoye1 or force CID Ikoyi.”

Police spokesperson, Adejobi quoted her tweet and replied: “I am waiting to hear from him.”

Bella Shmurda in an interview claimed Mohbad attempted suicide after his fallout with Naira Marley-owned record label, Marlian Music.

He also stated that the late rapper was receiving death threats.

Disturbing videos have emerged that depict the harsh treatment that Mohbad endured from certain individuals, prompting many on social media to demand justice for the departed soul.

Given the strained relationship between Mohbad and his former record label and boss, there has been a significant online backlash against Marlian Music, with many vowing to dismantle the label.

A petition calling for a ban on the record label has recently been launched and has already garnered over 126,000 signatures at the time of this report.

The online community’s anger has not spared Naira Marley, and they have continued to criticize him and unfollow him on his social media accounts.

Under the mounting pressure, Naira Marley, along with his record label, issued an official message of condolences. Additionally, he shared his feelings of sorrow over Mohbad’s passing on his Instagram story post.

He wrote: “Hey guys I’ve been shattered don’t even know what to type since. I’ve been so hurt walahi. But guys let’s do this for Mohbad. I know internet can.

They came, handled him roughly, even threatened him with a gun, causing him injury, which he endured for a while.

However, when he arrived at your office, he wasn’t the only one arrested, but he was the only one given the substance. Since when did NDLEA become a medical facility for administering substances? You’ve made life a living hell for this young man. @ndlea_nigeria, you are not innocent, and we are calmly seeking answers. There has been silence from all quarters, and I want to remind you that the End SARS movement began like this. When there’s no one else to challenge, it’s the youth who step up.

Atanda Modupe Deborah, a student in the nursing department of Stream A, Faculty of Basic Medical Science at Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), who had been reported as missing in early September, has sadly been discovered lifeless.

This somber revelation came to light today in Oye Ekiti, causing profound shockwaves not only within the university community but also far beyond its boundaries.

According to information gathered by Trendygists, Deborah, who was last sighted on September 4, 2023, near the pharmacy twin hall on the FUOYE campus, had ventured out for a study session. Her sudden disappearance had plunged her family and friends into a state of deep anxiety and distress.

Tragically, her lifeless body was found on September 6, showing grievous injuries to her head. Even more distressing, it was reported that her eyes had been cruelly removed, painting a gruesome and chilling picture of the circumstances surrounding her untimely demise.
