Atanda Modupe Deborah, a student in the nursing department of Stream A, Faculty of Basic Medical Science at Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), who had been reported as missing in early September, has sadly been discovered lifeless.
This somber revelation came to light today in Oye Ekiti, causing profound shockwaves not only within the university community but also far beyond its boundaries.
According to information gathered by Trendygists, Deborah, who was last sighted on September 4, 2023, near the pharmacy twin hall on the FUOYE campus, had ventured out for a study session. Her sudden disappearance had plunged her family and friends into a state of deep anxiety and distress.
Tragically, her lifeless body was found on September 6, showing grievous injuries to her head. Even more distressing, it was reported that her eyes had been cruelly removed, painting a gruesome and chilling picture of the circumstances surrounding her untimely demise.
The tragic passing of this young student was also confirmed in an official statement released by the student union body of the university.
