On May 31st 2022, it was gathered that the giver allegedly ordered the demolition of over 500 houses worth billions of naira in Oke Ira Community, Igbogbo/Bayeku Ikorodu without notice, court order or judgement.
According to reports the governor mobilized cultists and thugs from Ketu who maintained there were in a mission ordered by the Executive governor of Lagos state.
Eyewitnesses reported that the team was led by one Engineer Omotosho, branded vehicle of Ministry of Physical planning and fully armed men of the Nigerian Police Force (MOPOL) who threatened to disperse anyone who dares to stop the illegal process.
Following the incident, two deaths have been recorded and the ever working governor is yet to work to the community or to say a word.
Can any ministry do such without the consent of the governor? Yet the media is silent about this!
